✨ DuoTask Spark

Optional analytics and campaign measurement

Effective October 16, 2026. This notice covers versions of DuoTask Spark for iOS and Android that offer these choices.

Two separate choices

Usage analytics and campaign measurement are both off until you choose to enable them. You can use the app without either. Change each choice independently in Settings on iOS or the You tab on Android. Neither choice sends your photos, task or reward text, invite codes, email address, name or DuoTask account ID.

Optional usage analytics: Google

If enabled, Google Analytics for Firebase receives app opens, sessions, screen views and fixed actions: signing in or up, creating or joining a group, opening or sharing an invite, creating or completing a task, creating or claiming a reward, finishing the tutorial, creating a task with a reward, and returning to a core activity on a later day. Google also receives technical information such as app version, device model, operating system, language, coarse location derived from the connection and a randomly generated app-instance identifier. This identifier can connect sessions on the same installation.

We use these reports to improve DuoTask. We do not set a Google Analytics user ID. Google advertising identifier collection, advertising data storage and advertising personalization remain disabled. Turning usage analytics off stops future collection and resets its identifier on this device. See Google's privacy policy.

Optional campaign measurement on Android: Meta

If enabled, DuoTask sends Meta an install or activation signal and fixed milestones: registration, creating a task with a reward, completing a task, joining a group and returning to a core activity on a later day. It sends a random installation identifier, event times, app version, Android version, device model, language and time zone. Meta receives your IP address through the connection. If Google Play supplied a Meta advertising referral, that referral is included to help match the install to its ad.

We use this information to measure and improve DuoTask advertising. Meta can associate the referral and technical signals with advertising activity according to its terms. DuoTask does not read or send the Android Advertising ID, hardware identifiers, account identifiers or private content, and does not inspect text you enter for advertising. See Meta's privacy policy. Turning this option off stops future sends and removes the local campaign identifier and pending events. A request already in flight may finish.

Optional campaign measurement on iOS: Apple

If enabled, DuoTask uses Apple's SKAdNetwork to report a small conversion value for installation, creating a task with a reward, completing a task, or returning to a core activity on a later day. Apple controls delayed attribution reports and limits their detail to protect privacy. DuoTask sends no account ID, advertising ID or private content through this feature and does not send individual app events directly to Meta on iOS. Turning this option off stops future updates; Apple may still deliver reports for previously authorized updates. See Apple's privacy information.

Retention and requests

Turning a choice off or deleting your account does not automatically erase measurement information already received by a provider. Historical measurement follows our configured retention settings and provider retention rules. Because no DuoTask account ID is attached, we may not be able to find historical measurement records using an account email alone. Contact aislan@longevitytlabs.tech for privacy, access or deletion requests. Account and content deletion remains available in the app and through our deletion page.
